Glistening so bright, white, pure allure.
Made by mankind, yet untouched by humankind.
I know it’s a call, my own downfall.
But something keeps me standing.
Suddenly everything seems so cold.
Standing as a clown in these shoes.
Too big, these shadows, too small, these lights.
Take baby steps, one, two, one, two.
Too, I know that this is something new.
Knew to push you off, off of me.
But I keep on falling.
On my knees,
Down all I see is Narcissus in this water.
Why do these tears crystalize into icy lines,
Beauty blurred in between the fine lines.
How the pain freezes the past,
And that nothing ever lasts.
What lies beyond this rooted flower?
